Moose Hunting

Maine is synonymous with Moose for good reason. We compete only with Alaska for the title "Largest Moose Population in the US". Standing a tall 7 feet high, Moose feature dark brown fur, long gangly legs, and a shoulder hump. Full size females average 800+ pounds and bulls average 1,100+ pounds. Bulls have large, palmated antlers that can weigh 40 pounds and are shed every year. Here at Grand Lake Hunt we offer the opportunity to hunt this native animal in its natural habitat. Our main focus are Zones 11 and 5 although we can do others.
